Major Moscow's Strikes Disrupt Power Across Kyiv

During the night, Moscow's aerial assaults have led to electricity outages in multiple districts of the capital city, Kyiv.

A number of civilians were hurt while residents in eastern districts were left without electricity and faced interruptions to water systems, according to municipal leaders.

Meanwhile, a seven-year-old child was killed in a separate Russian drone strike in the southeastern region in the southeastern part, according to local officials.

Moscow has increased assaults on energy facilities over the past few days, while the country's government has requested "concrete actions" from partner nations to apply pressure on Russia.

"What's needed is not symbolic gestures but firm measures - from the America, the EU and the major economies - in supplying air defence systems and applying restrictions," was stated in a social media post.

Authorities reported that hundreds of unmanned aircraft and several dozen rockets attacked the country's power systems, characterizing such attacks as "premeditated" and against "essential services" as winter approaches.

Energy officials said Moscow was "launching a major assault" and technical staff were striving to fix the damage.

A series of attacks hit power facilities and civilian homes in Kyiv.

Multiple people injured in the attacks on the capital have been hospitalized, as confirmed by municipal representatives.

Regional authorities said the metropolitan region came under intense attacks overnight. A young boy lost their life and several individuals were hurt.

The assaults come after nights of air raids in the area, parts of which are occupied by Moscow's military.

The whole nation is under warning for hypersonic Kinzhal missile strikes, which are tougher to detect.

National leaders told reporters that Russia was purposely seeking to destroy the national power system, with attacks already disrupting gas facilities.

Authorities confirmed technical personnel and officials were bracing for additional strikes.
