In a surprising collaboration that breaks traditional expectations, Ubisoft has unveiled an in-game collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual holiday event continues from November 25 through December 22, offering no-cost extra story content for Shadows players.

Mysterious Adventure Uncovered

According to the authorized announcement, "A mysterious meeting leads heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a original adventure, where whispers of prohibited rituals and fearsome metamorphoses reverberate through the obscurity." The narrative presents a "unusually attired woman named Ada" who charges the duo with journeying into the Crystal Cave—a important location from Attack on Titan—to save her companion from a clandestine group.

The questline concentrates on "peculiar experiments and a monstrous enemy" and is open to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.

Iconic Settings and Transformations

The trailer highlights the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was previously where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through ages. The trailer concludes with a powerful scene showing a character, probably the prisoner, morphing into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.

Unique Prizes and Additional Content

Players who finish the mission will acquire an special katana together with multiple objects hidden throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also includes premium Attack on Titan item packs, offering:
